Howard C. Cohen (Princeton, UCLA, Order of Coif, Law Review) joined ADI in 1984. He first worked for the Honorable William B. Enright (So. Dist. Cal.). He practiced five years in criminal trial practice, then five years in civil litigation. He is a Captain, USNR, JAGC (Ret.).
He was awarded the Defense and Navy Meritorious Service Medals. He was honored with S.D.C.B.A Public Lawyer (1996) and Paul Bell Award (2011). He is a certified appellate law specialist. He has argued before the California Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit. He is rated AV, Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the bars of U.S. Supreme Court, District of Columbia (inactive), Ninth Circuit, Southern and Central Districts of California, and Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. He is a Master of the Enright and San Diego Appellate Inns of Court.
Mr. Cohen is a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
