- Center for Families, Children & the Courts
The Center for Children and the Courts is a new entity within the Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts, Council and Legal Services Division. This is a specialized "child and family" department within its administrative office. The center's goals include maximizing the effectiveness of court services for children and families, implementing innovative court-related programs for children and families, and promoting those services in the legal community and to the public. The center engages in a myriad of activities designed to fulfill the mission, including training, technical assistance to courts, administration of grant programs, and development of a statewide resource center. - Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice
